Looking back, as we’re about to turn two years old, there have been a lot of wild twists and turns for The Ave. We’ve met a lot of awesome people, collaborated with some great artists, and been surprised at some of the celebrities who have walked through our door, to get geared out.
Perhaps the most mind-blowing experience yet, comes this week, when The Ave and owner and creator, get blasted into millions of living rooms, on ABC’s Shark Tank. Shark Tank stars billionaire Mark Cuban, real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion and branding expert Daymond John and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary as the five sharks. Over six million people per week watch Shark Tank!
Nick went to an audition, and made it on the show, getting a chance to pitch The Ave to the sharks, telling them all about how unique our store is, and about our own patented shoe-printing technology. We’re sworn to secrecy about the sharks reaction to the pitch, but this Friday at 8 p.m. (7 Central), the whole world will get to see, so check your local listings! Just happened to turn on TV and watched you on Shark Tank, a show I have never watched or heard of. I have worked in the fashion industry for over 15 years and am very familiar with digital printing technology.I was amazed and inspired by your vision, creativity , passion and drive.Don’t sell out to someone who doesn’t get it.You have a great business plan and I am sure, will have even more ideas going forward. Their loss , and yes, you deserve 6 figures and more !
Just watched you on Shark Tank and we are sooooo bummed that the Sharks were not smart enough to make a deal but I’m thinking that you are going to find lottsa success anyways! I know I will be back to order from you all – not just for myself but for family/friends and I bet there are many peeps like myself that will search you out too. Saw you on Shark Tank and was very impressed with your idea.!! Im from Dallas Texas and I think they are crazy!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED your product and I was just looking for a place that can do a photo of my logo on a bathing suit and boom there you are!! Can you do a picture on the back of a bathing suit bottom? Dont Loose faith…these shows never really pan out in the end…and the investments never make it through to fruition…I know because an associate of mine was on the Dragons Den (where the sharks got the idea from) and they promised him 200K and it never went any where.
